ベトナムに約10年関わってきましたが、スタッフの結婚式に出席するのは実は初めてです。
花嫁に言われるがままのスケジュールでハノイを出発します。
深夜バスに乗って早朝到着予定です。
学生の頃から携わっているスタッフのリンさんの結婚式とあって
＃特に差別はしていませんよ
他のスタッフが行けないなら私が行かなきゃ！という使命感を持って出席します。
深夜バスと言ってもベッドが１つあるようなちょっとVIPなバスでした。
日本円で３０００円くらいです。
ハノイ発　→　クアンビンまでおよそ１２時間の長旅です。
とりあえずトイレが付いているのだけは事前に確認して、そこだけ安心していました。
１２時間の旅ということで、その間の時間でPC仕事をしちゃえ！と
心の準備も資料の準備もしていましたが、まさかのコンセントがありませんでした(-_-;)
しかしどうしてもこの時間でなんとかしたいので、PCの残バッテリーの猶予の中でPC仕事をスタートさせました。
時間の猶予がなので意識的に集中力が生まれ、なんとかやる予定のPC仕事は進行できました。
その後は体力温存をテーマになんとか体を休めることに終始し、狭いスペースながらも、結構、睡眠を取ることができました。
ちょうど朝焼けのj時間に起きれたためクアンビン省の朝焼けに出くわし
心洗われる時間も胆嚢できてラッキーでした。
ベトナムは東に海岸線があるため朝焼けが最高のようです。

朝の５：３０頃にバスターミナルに到着し、ホテルで休憩する予定でしたが、花嫁のお兄さんが迎えに来てくれたの、お腹減った…をアピールしたら、朝ごはんに連れてっていってもらいました。
血合いいりのBunのお店で、何も調味料を入れなくても、結構辛い！
暑い地方なのでスタミナ付けるのが文化なんだろうな…
と、勝手に解釈して、辛めのスープをすすります。
朝から多分３０℃越えだったこともあり、汗だくでフィニッシュして、
お兄さんのおススメのCAFEへ向かいます。
そこは、毎年９月に開催するドラゴンボートのフェスティバルの会場で、景色も抜群！その景色が売り物のＣＡＦＥだったんだと思います。ただ元ボート部だった私の魂も揺れました。

ひとしきり雑談をしてからいよいよLINHさんの結婚披露パーティが行われます会場へ向かいます。
その前にちょっとホテル昼寝という名の朝寝をさせていただきます。

I’ve been involved in Vietnam for about 10 years, but this is actually my first time attending a staff member’s wedding.
I’m leaving Hanoi on a schedule as instructed by the bride.
I’m planning to arrive early in the morning on a late-night bus.
Since it’s the wedding of Linh, a staff member who has been involved since she was a student,
#I ‘m not discriminating.
If the other staff can’t go, then I have to go! I’m attending with a sense of mission.
Even though it’s a late-night bus, it’s a bit of a VIP bus with one bed.
It’s about 3,000 yen in Japanese yen.
It’s a long journey of about 12 hours from Hanoi to Quang Binh.
At least I confirmed in advance that there was a toilet, so that was the only thing I was relieved about.
Since it’s a 12-hour journey, I thought I’d use the time to work on my computer!
I was mentally prepared and had prepared my documents, but there was no outlet (-_-;)
However, I really wanted to do something with this time, so I started working on my computer while my computer’s battery was still running.
Since I had some time to spare, I was able to concentrate and somehow make progress on the PC work I had planned to do.
After that, I focused on conserving my energy and somehow managed to rest my body, and even though the space was small, I was able to get quite a bit of sleep.
I was lucky to wake up just as the sun was rising, so I was able to see the sunrise over Quang Binh Province and have a time that was refreshing to the soul.
Vietnam has a coastline on the east, so the sunrise is said to be the best.

I arrived at the bus terminal around 5:30 in the morning and was planning to rest at the hotel, but the bride’s brother came to pick me up, and when I told him I was hungry, he took me for breakfast.
It was a shop that served bun with meat, and it was quite spicy even without any seasoning!
It’s a hot region, so I guess it’s a culture to build up stamina…
I interpreted it as such, and sipped the spicy soup.
It was probably over 30 degrees Celsius from the morning, so I finished drenched in sweat and headed to the cafe recommended by the brother.
It was the venue for the Dragon Boat Festival, held every September, and the view was amazing! I think the view was the main selling point of the cafe. But it also stirred my soul as a former member of the rowing club.

After a bit of small talk, we finally headed to the venue where LINH’s wedding reception was to be held.
Before that, I took a little nap.
