理美容専門学校での授業に出発します。
昨夜呑み会で終電》朝早すぎて超眠いですがなんとか羽田空港に辿り着きました。
直前に学校の先生に授業内容の資料を送り、前回打ち合わせからのフィードバックに変更点ありで有難いことにバージョンアップありでの事前の準備依頼をお願いしながら、アレコレ臨機応変に対応する事がたくさんあるんだろうな〜と、想像しながら先ずは空港到着後に牛乳とコーヒーを急いで流し込みながらムセながら33番搭乗口を目指します。
羽田の33番ゲートはバスで飛行機までの移動です。
バスでの空港内移動はメンドクサイけど、飛行機を間近で体験できるのでワクワクします。

ほぼ定刻での出発》到着》でとかち帯広空港より帯広の町を目指します。
バスの中から雄大な大地の景色を眺めていると北海道を感じます。
帯広駅前で先生とのランチMTGを行い、学校へ到着します。

いよいよ授業が始まります。
その前に授業風景を見学させていただいたり、校長先生とコミュニケーションをさせていただいたりしながら、いよいよ授業の準備に入ります。今回は、アイブローの講義と実技。レディースシェービングの実技を行います。
モデルさんの学生さん。モデルさんの先生。2人のプレカウンセリングをしていよいよ授業に向かいます。
始まる前は緊張しますね。毎回笑
帯広ですけど今日は蒸し暑いのでかなり汗かきました。
生徒さんの反応を見ながら、先生の反応を、感じながら講義を進めます。
だいたい講義は、眠くなる。特に午後イチの授業は眠くなるので、まあ眠い人は寝させてあげよう実技まで。
アイブローの実技に入ると生徒さんは俄然ヤル気に、興味深々に身を乗り出し始めます。
今日も元気な子は、私のすぐ後ろにまで来て熱心に見て質問を投げかけてきてくれました。
実技恐るべし！
そしてレディースシェービングの実技は先生がモデルさんなのもあり美容科の生徒さんが身を乗り出し始めます。
最近では仕事の領域を増やすために、美容師理容師のダブルライセンスを取得し、特にエステシェービングのスキルを身につけて、幅広い領域での活躍の可能性も拡がっています。
簡単ではないけれど、理容師の活躍の幅が拡がるのは素晴らしい事だな〜と思っております。無事に授業も終わりましたが放課後の練習会も手伝わせていただき生徒さんとの距離も縮まりました。

ご挨拶後、学校を、後にし夜の先生とのコミュニケーションまでちょっと休憩します。

なにより学生との触れ合いは、初心に帰り、基本を確認し、若者とのGAPを理解し、よりわかりやすく伝えるのはどうしたらいいか？改善作業に最適です！
素晴らしい業界の後輩達にこれからもたくさん逢いに行きたいと思います。

I’m leaving for class at a beauty and hairdressing school.

I missed the last train because I went out drinking last night.

I’m super sleepy because it was so early in the morning, but I managed to make it to Haneda Airport.

I sent the materials for the class to the teacher at the school just before, and asked him to prepare in advance for any changes based on the feedback from the last meeting, and thankfully there will be updates.

I imagine that there will be a lot of things to deal with flexibly, so after arriving at the airport, I quickly gulp down some milk and coffee and head to boarding gate 33 while choking.

At gate 33 at Haneda, we take a bus to the plane.

It’s a pain to travel around the airport by bus, but it’s exciting to be able to experience the plane up close.

I departed almost on time.

I arrived.

I headed for the town of Obihiro from Tokachi Obihiro Airport.

Looking at the majestic landscape from the bus, I felt like I was in Hokkaido.

I had a lunch meeting with the teacher in front of Obihiro Station and then arrived at the school.

Class was about to begin.

Before that, I had the opportunity to observe the classroom and communicate with the principal, and then I finally started preparing for the class. This time, I had a lecture and practical on eyebrows. I also had a practical on ladies’ shaving.

It’s Obihiro, but it’s hot and humid today, so I sweat a lot.
I proceed with the lecture while watching the students’ reactions and feeling the teacher’s reactions.
Most lectures make me sleepy. The first class in the afternoon is especially sleepy, so I’ll let the sleepy ones sleep until the practical.
When we started the eyebrow practical, the students suddenly became motivated and began to lean forward with interest.
Today, a lively student came right behind me, looked intently, and asked questions.
Practical skills are scary!
And for the ladies’ shaving practical, the beauty students began to lean forward because the teacher was a model.
Recently, in order to expand the scope of my work, I obtained a double license as a hairdresser and barber, and especially acquired the skills of esthetic shaving, expanding my possibilities for activity in a wide range of fields.
It’s not easy, but I think it’s wonderful that the scope of work of barbers can expand. The lessons ended safely, but I also helped with the practice session after school, and the distance between me and the students was also shortened. After greetings, I left the school and took a short break until I communicated with the teachers in the evening. Above all, interacting with students is a great way to go back to basics, confirm the basics, understand the gap with young people, and think about how to convey it more clearly. It’s perfect for improvement work!
